Ferrari 812 Superfast – Ferrari V12 reaches 800 HP 812 Superfast. This is Evolution of F12berlinetta, 812 Superfast has a 6.5 liter V12 led to an even more “boost”.
Ferrari 812 Superfast Review Design
INSPIRED by the past – Ferrari recalls the historic name Superfast (used on the 1964 500 Superfast) and uses it to what would become the fastest production car and performance in its history, the Ferrari 812 Superfast, waiting at the next Geneva Motor Show (March 7-19) as a direct evolution of F12berlinetta: the new naturally-aspirated V12 engine develops 800 HP and gives the car a maximum speed of more than 340 km/h. The front-engine architecture keeps 812 Superfast Central and recalls the style of some famous Ferrari of the past, such as the 365 GTB4 of 1969, chosen as a source of inspiration for tail updo. The link with the past is also found in Red Paint seventy years and in circular aspect rear lights, come back in vogue only recently after having been long a feature of production Ferrari.
SO MUCH TECHNOLOG
The Interior of the Ferrari 812 Superfast refers instead to the “Reds” and keeps the solution horizontal plank, floating style, where there are a series of innovations in terms of instrumentation, steering wheel and multimedia system. Entirely new is also the seats. The call to some famous Ferrari of the past has hampered the development of the technique, which remains very sophisticated, limiting 812 Superfast an audience of highly skilled and experienced drivers. Here debuts the novelty of electric power steering EPS, which replaces the plumber mounted so far and provides better integration with the latest technologies, starting from the system Side Slip Control (SSC), which controls the trim and improves traction in more challenging driving situations. There is also the short wheelbase four wheel steering system virtual: the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction or parallel to those front to improve stability or maneuverability.
The Ferrari V12 engine debut, port Ferrari 812 Superfast from 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated, which develops 800 HP at 8,500 RPM and 718 NM of torque at 7,000 RPM. Adopts the 350 bar, direct injection system and a variable geometry intake duct, inspired in concept to those used on older aspirated engines in Formula 1. The dual-clutch gearbox is automatic and has been updated with the even more immediate shift times, so as to improve engine response to the pressure of the gas. Ferrari declares a time of 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and speed tips over 340 km/h, despite the weight and the external dimensions are quite generous: 812 466 cm length measurement Superfast (+4 cm compared to 152) and weighs 1,525 lbs, deployed for the 53% to 47% front and rear.
